Conducted by CII and Anarock Properties, the findings reveal that of the 5,500 NRIs who participated in this consumer sentiment survey, 22% chose Hyderabad while 20% ticked NCR as their place of choice. Bengaluru slipped to third spot – after ruling the charts for two years – with 18%.
Overall, the survey found that there is an increased interest among NRIs to pick up homes in Indian cities, with 71% of them voting in favour of it being the best investment bet. During pre-Covid times, this figure was about 55%.
