Not shifting Agniveer job rallies from Punjab: Army

The Army clarified on Wednesday about reports that it was shifting Agniveer recruitment rallies out of Punjab, with Army sources saying that the process "is progressing as scheduled for the year 2022-23", and that the evidence lay in the Ludhiana and Gurdaspur rallies.

Clarifying that those two rallies were conducted with the civil administration's "full support", Army sources said that the registration and footfall had been "encouraging as per trends of previous years".
