Hyderabad: The Rs 653cr Secunderabad Redevelopment project is expected to kick off by year-end with officials gearing up to open the tender process by month-end. The plan envisages a major upgrade of the station complex with a total built-up area of 1.59lakh sqm.
From multi-level parking to building the largest sky concourse, South Central Railway (SCR) aims to provide facilities at par with an international airport. Major works under the project include the construction of a double-storied sky concourse of 108m width.
