Tribal village walks the talk, enforces plastic ban strictly

Hyderabad: A tribal village with 130 families in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district is saying ‘no’ to plastic and implementing the Centre’s ban on usage of plastic strictly.

Setting an example towards total eradication of plastic, the gram panchayat of Marvalai village in Jainoor mandal is distributing nonwoven bags to all the households. The gram panchayat will provide jute bags also to the families. An order has been placed and the bags are expected to be delivered soon.
