TRS activists vandalise BJP MP Arvind's house in city

Scores of TRS activists on Friday barged into the house of BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind at Banjara Hills and vandalised the property to protest his alleged remarks against TRS MLC K Kavitha.

Eight of the nearly 50 protesters have so far been picked up by cops. The MP was not at home where only his 70-year-old mother D Vijayalaxmi, couple of security staff and domestic helps were present when the TRS workers stormed in around 11.30 am. A few cops led by Banjara Hills inspector M Narender arrived at the spot but allegedly remained mute spectators, drawing much flak from the BJP for their inaction while the mob went about ransacking the MP’s home.
