Its worst fears came true when four of the party’s MLAs — Rohit Reddy, Rega Kantha Rao, Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy and G Balaraju — were allegedly offered huge sums and contracts by alleged middlemen on behalf of the BJP to join the fold.
Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao held a meeting with key leaders, including ministers KT Rama Rao, T Harish Rao and other leaders to discuss how to outwit BJP’s plan. According to sources, the four MLAs, who were allegedly lured by the middlemen are camping in Pragati Bhavan since Wednesday night.
