
The only three towns in the country where air quality index (AQI) level was in the "severe" category above the 400-mark were all in Bihar. The AQI was found to be in the "very poor" category at 11 other places in the state on Saturday.
Motihari, Siwan, and Darbhanga were the most polluted places in the country on Saturday with "severe" AQI of 419, 417, and 404, respectively, as per the daily AQI bulletin issued by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
