Before assuming charge, India briefs G20 envoys in Andamans

Just before India officially assumes the G20 Presidency next week, the government organised a briefing for the envoys of G20 member-countries, invited guest countries and international organisations at Swaraj Dweep in Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Saturday.

Over 40 missions participated in the programme, said the government.

They were briefed by G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant and Chief G20 Coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla on the substantive, operational and logistical aspects of various G20 interactions during India's presidency.
