Nagpur: One sample tested positive for BA.5 from Sawangi in Wardha and 15 from Tamil Nadu. One sample also carried BA.4 from Tamil Nadu. The presence of BA.5 has shot up to 18% -16 out of 87 samples from around 2% reported from the previous study. Last week, two patients from Nagpur city had tested positive for BA.5. Both have recovered and been discharged now.
