Speaking with a group of youths during the rally Gandhi said youths are becoming engineers but are forced to work as drivers and labourers.

Gandhi said he had spoken to farmers who complained that while they and the government were paying for the PM’s crop insurance scheme, the company’s phones are unreachable when calamity strikes. “The money goes into the hands of the super rich,” he said.

The second day of the Maharashtra leg of the yatra kickstarted on Tuesday morning from Deglur towards Naigaon with the Flag Force of the Seva Dal as a matter of tradition.

At the end of the day, Gandhi slammed PM Narendra Modi on the sixth anniversary of the demonetisation decision of the Centre.
