AAP looks to drum up support over garbage problem, holds public meets

Party MLAs Dilip Pandey and Atishi held discussions with probable ward councillors to drum up support for them in the upcoming municipal polls.

"Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal does what he promises.

Delhi government has provided free water, electricity, education, health and bus trips for women. What has the BJP-led MCD given except garbage? It has not been able to perform its basic duty of keeping the city clean," said Pandey, addressing the crowd at Punjabi mohalla, Sora Kothi, in Malka Ganj ward.

Posing questions to the public about problems faced by them due to open garbage lying around, Pandey asked locals to vote BJP out of MCD this time. The ward is part of the MLA's assembly constituency in Timarpur.
