New Delhi: Following the CAQM decision to revoke Grap stage IV restrictions in Delhi-NCR in view of the slight improvement in air quality, the Delhi government is expected to issue a notification on Monday.
“Following the CAQM’s order, trucks and diesel-operated medium and heavy good vehicles, which are waiting at the border, will be informally allowed to enter Delhi. However, a formal order on lifting the ban on entry of trucks, diesel operated goods vehicles, BS-III petrol and diesel four-wheeler LMVs vehicles will be issued after a meeting on Monday,” transport department sources said.
Delhi environment minister Gopal Rai will chair a meeting with various departments to review the air quality situation on Monday at the Delhi secretariat.
