New Delhi:The matter of dug-up, broken roads and garbage piles outside Delhi government and MCD schools at Madanpur Khadar in Southeast district has reached Delhi High Court.

A petition filed following no action from the civic body and the government will be heard in court on Monday.

NGO Social Jurist filed the petition following the visit of their advocate Ashok Agarwal. Invoking Right to Health (Article 21) and Right to Education (Article 21-A) of the Constitution, the petition highlights how the broken road and garbage piles are violating the rights of students and posing a health hazard for them.
