Florence Nightingale awardee says inspired by Mother Teresa

Dhote's dream came true this year, when she received the Florence Nightingale Award.

"I took an oath as a nurse to perform my duties as Florence Nightingale did. It was a surreal feeling when my name was announced for the award," said Dhote (60).

She dedicated the award to her family, saying, "They sacrificed a lot for me during the two years of Covid."
