Hope lost: Kuno cheetah miscarries due to 'stress'

Cheetah Asha was pregnant when she was translocated from Namibia to Kuno wildlife sanctuary, but lost the embryos, perhaps due to stress, said Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF).

The confusion regarding Asha’s pregnancy, reported by TOI on September 31, has ended with the completion of her gestation period. Named by PM Modi, Asha was one of the eight Namibian cheetahs airlifted to Kuno National Park on September 17.
