I started my career in technology even before dot com was born – an industry that was predominantly structured and celebrated by men. I remember women were significantly underrepresented in the corporate pipeline, and at times, being the only woman in meetings had put me under unseen pressure. Two decades since then have shown me a fair share of change across people, processes, and technologies. Today, corporates are realising that diversity helps them prepare better and anticipate alternative viewpoints. Women in tech have become an indispensable facet of progress.
