Meta’s India head Ajit Mohan steps down, to join rival Snap

New Delhi: Social media giant Meta’s India head Ajit Mohan has resigned from the company, and is joining rival Snap as a senior executive overseeing the Asia Pacific region.

“Ajit has decided to step down from his role at Meta to pursue another opportunity outside of the company. Over the last four years, he has played an important role in shaping and scaling our India operations so they can serve many millions of Indian businesses, partners and people,” Nicola Mendelsohn, global business group VP at Meta, said in a statement.
