Ekta Kaul and her husband, actor Su-meet Vyas, became proud parents to a baby boy who they have named Ved, in June 2020. Ekta, who was last seen in the TV show Mere Angne Mein in 2017, says, “There is no particular reason why I haven’t done TV for five years. I was looking for good opportunities, but nothing interesting worked out. Also, TV has long working hours and I was busy on the personal front – we got married in 2018 and later had a baby.”
