No disclosure statement was made, Zubair tells HC

New Delhi:Fact checker Mohammed Zubair, being probed for posting an alleged objectionable tweet against a Hindu deity in 2018, denied before Delhi High Court the claim of police that he posted content that triggered religious sentiments to gain popularity.

He alleged that police attributed “false and concocted theories” to him in the name of “disclosure statements”, which was “subversion of the rule of law” and a “mockery of due process”.
