Police get court nod for polygraph test

Delhi Police and forensic officials are now gearing up to conduct a polygraph test on Aaftab after receiving permission from a court on Monday. Police have also rounded up some drug peddlers in their pursuit of a conduit who allegedly supplied drugs to Aaftab, sources said.

Cops prepare for polygraph test on Aaftab, explore drug link

New Delhi: Delhi Police and forensic officials are now gearing up to conduct a polygraph test on Aaftab Poonawala having received the court’s nod for this on Monday. In addition, the cops are also examining the alleged murderer’s drug habit and have rounded up some peddlers to determine the specific supplier of narcotics to Aaftab, including cannabis product Malana cream. Investigators have gone to Tosh in Himachal Pradesh in pursuit of this angle.

The Forensic Science Laboratory in Rohini will carry out the polygraph and narco analysis tests, while the Central Bureau of Investigation’s Central Forensic Science Laboratory has been tasked with examining the bones and other pieces of evidence in the murder and dismembering of Shraddha Walkar, Aaftab’s live-in partner.
