Rai: 'Red light on...’ campaign put off as LG didn’t clear file

Earlier, Rai had announced that the campaign would be launched on October 28 as a measure to control vehicular pollution in the city. Calling the campaign that started in October 2020 “highly successful”, Rai said it was “very unfortunate” that the event was cancelled after the LG’s “inordinate delay and refusal to clear the file”.

Delhi government had earlier also put on hold its order of making PUC certificates mandatory for getting fuel at filling stations.
