Dave Grohl, apologize to Swift or hide

There is only one hard rule in showbiz: Do not enrage the Swifties.

Dave Grohl, apologize to Swift or hide

These are the most devoted fans in the world. To her army, Taylor Swift is not just a singer. She is a religion. She is both guiding light and North Star. She could release an album in which she yodels while kicking a garbage can and it would top the Billboard charts. I'm not sure my family loves me as much as Taylor's fans love her. She is a force of nature.

So I don't know what Dave Grohl was thinking. But he should go into hiding.

During a Foo Fighters concert at London Stadium this weekend, Grohl suddenly blurted out, "I tell you, man, you don't want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift."

The voice in his head should have shouted, "NO, DAVE! SHUT UP!" But possibly because Ms. Swift was also in London this past weekend for her Eras Tour, Grohl continued to riff with dad joke vibes: "So we like to call our tour the 'Errors Tour. We've had more than a few eras and more than a few f-king errors as well. That's because we actually play live."

Slap forehead. Even Bill Buckner was thinking, "Dude, that's an unforced error."
