Our 30th birthday, 400th edition and a fresh redesign of the magazine: 2022 has been a major year for Cycling Plus. We celebrated by launching our debut retail range of branded jerseys and bibs in collaboration with HUUB Design of Derby in July, and then followed up with our boxfresh collection for cooler and/or wetter climes.
Ready to battle the winter is the unisex Long Sleeve Jersey (£109.99), a firm favourite of the team that features an elasticated four-way stretch thermal material to keep the jersey sitting close to your body while ensuring you stay warm on those long rides.
Also out is the unisex All Elements Gilet (£109.99), a lightweight and stylish red number that co-ordinates with both jerseys and the bibs, and offers the triple whammy of windproofing, breathability and moisture-wicking properties, not to mention good visibility on the road. It also offers three rear pockets, reflective elements and the ability to stash in a jersey pocket.
Already released are the Cycling Plus x HUUB Short Sleeve Jersey (£69.99) and Cycling Plus x Huub Bib Short (£99.99), available in both men's and women's versions and sizes.

Air Apparent - Pollution hasn't gone away. It's still there in every lungful, even if we can't see it in the air or on the news. But there are reasons to breathe easier, thanks to pioneering projects using cycling 'citizen scientists'. Rob Ainsley took part in one...
The toxic effects of pollution have been known about for years. 'Just two things of which you must beware: Don't drink the water and don't breathe the air!' sang 1960s satirist Tom Lehrer.Over recent decades, though, pollution has dropped down our list of things to worry about, thanks to ominously capitalised concerns such as Climate Change, AI, Global Conflict, Species Collapse, etc. That doesn't, unfortunately, mean the problem has expired. Air quality often exceeds safe limits, with far-reaching and crippling effects on our health.
