Kim Caps Remarkable Week With Historic Win
WYNDHAM CHAMPIONSHIP

South Korean Kim Joo-hyung fired a stunning nine-under-par final round at the Wyndham Championship for his first PGA Tour title, securing his spot in the season-ending playoffs.

Kim also became the second-youngest winner since World War II by shooting a blistering final-round 61 to win by five strokes. After his quadruple bogey eight on the tournament’s first hole, the 20-year-old played his final 71 holes at 24 under, blowing away the competition on a rain-delayed, 26-hole Sunday.

“It’s definitely a week I’ll remember forever,” Kim said after his 20-under total of 260 gave him a five-stroke victory over fellow South Korean Im Sung-jae and American John Huh.
