Cupid struck engineering technologist Tabitha Balgobin and CT scan technologist Camille Balgobin the modern way, with a little help from an algorithm. The two matched on a dating app, one that the old-school romantics had reluctantly succumbed to during the pandemic.
"Months of heartfelt conversations online finally culminated in our eagerly-awaited first date. The connection we felt virtually only intensified in person. As cliché as it sounds, it was love at first sight," says Camille. "We instantly knew we had found something special in each other," confirms Tabitha, who popped the question two years after this date.
