There was no time for Wales watching as the duchess took on some Kiwi legends

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is no slouch when it comes to sailing. She spent time on boats as a child and has been part of a crew that sailed across the Atlantic.

So she was able to provide a helping hand when she joined a British crew in the friendly Commonwealth race against a New Zealand team skippered by yachting legends Peter Burling and Blair Tuke.

Kate joined four-times Olympic gold medallist Sir Ben Ainslie for the race in Plymouth ahead of the formal competition, even taking the helm of a foiling catamaran for a brief while.
