Self-confessed festive fanatic Amanda Holden's face lights up like a Christmas tree when Woman mentions the most wonderful time of year.
The Britain's Got Talent judge, 53, who is mum to Lexi, 18, and Hollie, 12, reveals her family traditions, the reason she won't give her husband Chris Hughes gift ideas and why she likes to take a bottle of champagne on her Christmas Day dog walk!
Hi Amanda! What do you love most about Christmas?
I'm going to sound like the winner of a beauty pageant, but I really like the family coming together. I think that is the main thing, having everyone in one place, at the same time - it's all about family. I love the cooking and all the prep in the run-up to Christmas too. And I like decorating, buying and giving gifts.
What is the best Christmas present that you've ever received?
Because I like to have a sherry at Christmas, my elder daughter Lexi once used all her pocket money to buy me a schooner glass. She went to an antiques shop, I think it is Georgian, and bought it. It only cost about £6 but it was the fact that she saved up all her pocket money and spent it on me, it was so sweet.
