Ruth Langsford has always been open about the fact that she's struggled with weight loss since the menopause hit, admitting, 'These days I put on weight much more easily.' Her refreshing honesty is perhaps the reason she is so relatable to so many. Now, in the throes of a divorce, Ruth will undoubtedly be looking to her future which, just a year ago, looked so different.
Last month, it was announced that the presenter and her husband, Eamonn Holmes, were going their separate ways after 14 years of marriage and 27 years together. Column inches were full of speculation that Eamonn had been seeking comfort from a woman who is in her 40s and that Ruth was understandably 'devastated'.
Now, as the dust settles and Ruth tries to piece her life back together, the star is putting on a brave face. Pictured leaving her hair salon in Weybridge, she looked positive, in fantastic shape and ready to put the past firmly behind her. A revenge body incoming? Oh, we do hope so.
Healthy eating
Ruth is no stranger to documenting what she eats and revealed that she decided to switch up her diet after overindulging at Easter.
