AMANDA DE WARREN 'I CAN HEAR YOUR PET'S THOUGHTS!'

There's a warm, bubbly voice at the end of the phone when Woman's Day calls our weekly contributor, Australia's top pet psychic Amanda De Warren.

"I love all animals. I love helping them and their owners. It's my life work," Amanda, 61, tells us. "People just want to know how their animals are - it's not always about if they're sick or injured, people just want to be able to connect."

Brisbane-based Amanda began contributing to Woman's Day in 2013 and, over the past decade, has become a firm favourite with readers, who ask advice about their beloved pets.

She's helped a reader calm her troubled pet turkey Trixie, talked to stray cat Missy, who wanted to say thanks to her new owners, and passed on heartfelt messages from beyond the grave from golden retriever Jess. She also does healings for sick animals.

"I recently did one for a lady whose cat had mouth cancer. By the time the vets got back to her and said that her cat was terminally ill, they couldn't find a trace of the tumour," says Amanda. "It had completely gone within seven weeks."
