Rhali Dobson and Matt Stonham captured Australia's hearts after R their emotional pitch proposal last year. Now the W-League soccer star and her partner have us crying happy tears all over again after tying the knot nine-and-a-half years after they first met.
Speaking exclusively to Woman's Day about their stunning nuptials, Rhali, 30, says it was a dream come true to celebrate their love following Matt's tough brain cancer journey.
CELEBRATING LOVE
"It was truly a magical time and the day was just perfect, the type of day we'd dreamed of," Rhali says happily of the event, which took place at Chapel Ridge in Kulnura, NSW on December 1, 2022. "Even before the proposal, we knew for a long time what we wanted and it all just fell into place.
She adds with a laugh, "Matt made me wait nine-and-a-half years, so I made him wait an extra two minutes before the doors opened and I walked down the aisle."
