To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance." This quote by Oscar Wilde is a gentle reminder to all the women who always keep themselves at others' beck and call but often forget to sit for a while, relax, take a deep breath, and just enjoy a moment or two. When you love yourself, you can never get betrayed, which is why self-love is a lifelong romance, devoid of any harshness or betrayal.
It is the stark reality of life that the one who takes care of everyone or is available for others day in and day out eventually has a weak support system, because of the sheer reason of always putting up a strong front. But, to keep that strength going, one must give time, love, care, and compassion to oneself before everyone else because "You can't pour from an empty cup." To serve others well, you must have your glass full, so you can shower love and take care of others around you only when you are yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically strong and loved. A woman, no matter how tired, stressed out, or unwell she is, still serves others, but a feeling of frustration, unwillingness, and uneasiness starts residing within her which harms her selfworth. So, in order to do for others wholeheartedly, it is quintessential that the woman herself is happy, healthy, and loved.
