Watchmaking maisons within the LVMH Group hosted the fifth edition of the LVMH Watch Week in Miami after last year's edition, which was held in Singapore. Miami is the ideal venue for this fifth edition of LVMH Watch Week; a hub of contemporary luxury and culture, and a dynamic international crossroads a prominent city in a strategically important market for LVMH. The LVMH Group counts nearly 42,000 employees, over 1,000 stores and 13 production facilities in the United States, and is consistently a key growth engine year after year for LVMH and its maisons. Reflecting the vitality of the region, the Group introduced the LVMH Institut des Métiers d'Excellence training program in North America in 2022 in close collaboration with Tiffany & Co.
More recently, LVMH announced an ambitious sustainability partnership with the Miami Design District to reduce stores' energy consumption and promote the use of solar power. Bvlgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith were joined by Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta - two historically important watchmakers - making their debuts within La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. One notable absentee from LVMH Watch Week 2024, however, is Louis Vuitton - led by Jean Arnault, watch director of Louis Vuitton, who was responsible for the revival of Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta under La Fabrique du Temps and the Louis Vuitton Watch Prize for Independent Creatives initiative.
"This fifth edition of LVMH Watch Week is taking place in Miami in the United States, a strategic market for our Watches & Jewelry Division. We are excited and proud to once again shine a bright light on the collective momentum of our watchmaking maisons - Bvlgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith, of course, but also Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta, joining us for the first time this year," said Stéphane Bianchi, chairman and chief executive officer of LVMH Watches & Jewelry Division.
