Once again, we find ourselves in a period of uncertainty, as the world tries tobalance a new sense of freedom and dealing with new outbreaks and variants of a disease that most people have grown weary of. Still, while glimpses of the old apprehensions are starting to manifest here and there, optimism is still the order of the day. There has been plenty of new success stories from the world of business and industries, and we’ve chosen a trio of leaders to gain new insight into how local businesses have gained new ground: There’s Yozua Makes from Plataran Group,James Prananto from Kopi Kenangan and Tessa Wijaya from Xendit. We’re also sharing with you a glimpse of the future in a collaborative feature with Le Chateau featuring six young figures who, in the years to come, might go out and create their own mark in the world like their established seniors. And for the cover of this issue, we partnered up once again with ERHA for a story starring the one and only Wulan Guritno. I would have liked to conclude this letter on a more positive note, but as we were wrapping up this edition of Prestige, I received the sad news that Chris Hanrahan, our former Managing Editor, has passed away. Chris has been at the helm of Prestige Indonesia’s editorial team for the better part of the magazine’s history until early 2020. Even after his departure from the team, Chris still kept in touch with us and regularly contributed to the magazine. It goes without saying that he will be sorely missed as we hope to keep his legacy alive through these very pages...
