വടക്കന്‍ ഗസ്സയില്‍ ഇസ്രാഈലിന്റെ ബോംബാക്രമണത്തില്‍ ഹമാസിന്റെ ഉന്നത നേതാവ് യഹ്യ സിന്‍വറും കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു! ഈ ലേഖനം എഴുതുമ്പോള്‍ 373  ദിവസങ്ങളിലായി ഫലസ്തീനില്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ സംഖ്യ 42,344 ആയിരുന്നു. ഒക്‌ടോബര്‍ 18-ന് അത് 42,438 ആയി ഉയര്‍ന്നു. ഫലസ്തീന്‍ ജനതയെ ഈ ഭൂമുഖത്തുനിന്നും എന്നന്നേക്കുമായി ഇല്ലാതാക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ഇസ്രാഈലിന്റെ അജണ്ട. ഈ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ ഫലസ്തീന്‍ പോരാട്ടത്തിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയം വീണ്ടും അനാവരണം ചെയ്യുകയാണ് നവമാധ്യമ വിദഗ്ധനും രാഷ്ട്രീയ സാംസ്‌കാരിക നിരീക്ഷകനുമായ ലേഖകന്‍.

എഴുപതാമത് ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാര്‍ഡില്‍ മികച്ച ചിത്രമായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത 'ആട്ടം' നാടകസംഘത്തെയും അതിലെ അഭിനേതാക്കളെയും കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് കഥ പറയുന്ന സിനിമയാണ്. മികച്ച തിരക്കഥ, എഡിറ്റിങ്ങ് എന്നീ വിഭാഗത്തിലും ആട്ടത്തിനുതന്നെയാണ് അവാര്‍ഡ്. വടകരയില്‍ ഈയിടെ അരങ്ങേറിയ 'വ' ഫെസ്റ്റില്‍ ഈ സിനിമയില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ച 10 നാടകപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും സംവിധായകനും പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്നു. അവര്‍ 'ആട്ടം സിനിമാനുഭവങ്ങള്‍' പങ്കുവെക്കുന്നു.

ആദിവാസി ജനതയുടെ ജീവിതത്തോട് ഇഴുകിച്ചേര്‍ന്ന് അവരുടെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കൂടുതല്‍ നിറംനല്‍കിയ ജനകീയ സാംസ്‌കാരിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തകനായിരുന്നു കെ.ജെ ബേബി. കേരളം ശീലിച്ചുവന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സമ്പ്രദായത്തിന് ബദലന്വേഷണവുമായി ആദിവാസിക്കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് പുതിയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പദ്ധതിയുമായാണ് ബേബി വയനാട്ടില്‍ 'കനവ്' ആരംഭിച്ചത്. പിന്നീട് കനവ് വളര്‍ന്നു. ഒടുവില്‍ ആദിവാസിക്കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് തന്നെ കനവ് വിട്ടുകൊടുത്ത് ബേബി മറ്റന്വേഷണങ്ങളില്‍ മുഴുകി. അതിനിടെ ആകസ്മികമായാണ് അദ്ദേഹം 2024 സെപ്തംബര്‍ 1ന് ജീവിതത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് സ്വയം പടിയിറങ്ങിപ്പോയത്. ബേബിയുടെ ജീവിതയാത്ര അനുസ്മരിക്കുകയാണ് മാധ്യമ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകനായ ലേഖകന്‍.

വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ ലക്ഷ്യം എന്തെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാതെ പരിഷ്‌കാരങ്ങള്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഒരു തലമുറയുടെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളും ജീവിത ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളുമാണ് അട്ടിമറിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. കേരളത്തിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസരംഗത്തെ പുതിയ പരിഷ്‌കാരങ്ങള്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്ന നൈതികതയെക്കുറിച്ച് ചില നിരീക്ഷണങ്ങള്‍ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ് അധ്യാപകനും സംസ്ഥാന കരിക്കുലം കമ്മിറ്റി മുന്‍ അംഗവുമായ ലേഖകന്‍.


ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ആള്‍നാശവും പ്രകൃതിനാശവുമാണ് വയനാട്ടിലെ ഉരുള്‍പൊട്ടലില്‍ ഉണ്ടായത്. ദുരന്തത്തിന്റെ കാരണം സംബന്ധിച്ച് വികസന മൗലികവാദികളും പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷകരും വിദഗ്ധരും ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ നിരവധിപേര്‍ ചേരിതിരിഞ്ഞ് വാദങ്ങള്‍ ഉന്നയിക്കുകയാണ്.  എന്നാല്‍ ഇതില്‍ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി ഉരുള്‍പൊട്ടലിന്റെ ആഘാതം ലഘൂകരിക്കാന്‍ എന്ത് സമീപനമാണ് സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടത് എന്ന് നിര്‍ദേശിക്കുന്നു കേരള ഫോറസ്റ്റ് റിസര്‍ച്ച് ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂട്ടിലെ ഫോറസ്റ്റ് എന്റൊമോളജി ചീഫ് സയന്റിസ്റ്റായ ലേഖകന്‍.

പ്രകൃതിയെ സ്‌നേഹിക്കുന്നവര്‍ നല്‍കുന്ന മുന്നറിയിപ്പുകള്‍ അവഗണിക്കുന്ന ഭരണകൂടങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പ്രകൃതി തന്നെ നല്‍കുന്ന പാഠങ്ങള്‍ പക്ഷേ ഭയാനകമായിരിക്കും. അതാണ് മുണ്ടക്കൈയിലെയും പരിസരങ്ങളിലെയും ഉരുള്‍ പൊട്ടല്‍ കാണിക്കുന്നത്. കേരളം കണ്ട ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ആള്‍നാശമാണ് വയനാട്ടിലുണ്ടായത്. 2024 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 1 ലെ കണക്ക്പ്രകാരം 291 പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. 277 പേര്‍ കാണാമറയത്താണ്. ലോകത്തെ സങ്കടക്കടലിലാക്കിയ ഉരുള്‍പൊട്ടലിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലവും സംഭവങ്ങളും വിശദമാക്കുകയാണ് വയനാട് സ്വദേശിയും മുതിര്‍ന്ന മാധ്യമ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകനുമായ ലേഖകന്‍.

മൃതിയുടെ രൂക്ഷഗന്ധം പേറുകയാണ് ഫലസ്തീന്‍ തെരുവുകള്‍. ഇസ്രാഈലി പട്ടാളക്കാര്‍ക്ക് വിരസതയേറുമ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ വെടിവെയ്ക്കുന്നത് ഫലസ്തീന്‍ ജനതയുടെ നെഞ്ചിലേക്കാണ്. അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര യുദ്ധ നിയമങ്ങളും വെടിവെയ്പ്പിന്റെ നിയമങ്ങളുമെല്ലാം ഇവിടെ കുഴിച്ചുമൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. നിസ്സഹായരായ സ്ത്രീകളും കുട്ടികളും ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ എല്ലാവരും വെടിച്ചില്ലുകള്‍ക്കിരയാവുന്നു. ഇസ്രാഈല്‍ പട്ടാളക്കാരുടെ മുഖത്തേക്ക് നോക്കിയാല്‍പ്പോലും ക്രൂരമായി കൊല്ലുന്നു. ജന്മനാട്ടില്‍ മരണം വിധിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ജനതയുടെ ദുരന്ത ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ നേര്‍ക്കാഴ്ചയാണ് ഈ ലേഖനം.

വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ അമേരിക്കന്‍ എംബസികള്‍ നടത്തിയ ചാരപ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളും എംബസി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച രേഖകളും ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ ലോകത്തെ നടുക്കിയ നിരവധി വാര്‍ത്തകള്‍ പുറത്തുവിട്ട മാധ്യമ സ്ഥാപനമായിരുന്നു 2006ല്‍ ജൂലിയന്‍ അസാന്‍ജെ സ്ഥാപിച്ച വിക്കിലീക്‌സ്. ഇത്തരം വാര്‍ത്തകള്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചതിന്റെ പേരില്‍ അസാന്‍ജെ 14 വര്‍ഷത്തോളമായി വിവിധ രീതിയില്‍ പീഡനങ്ങള്‍ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങുകയാണ്. അഞ്ചു വര്‍ഷത്തിനുമീതെയായി ബ്രിട്ടനിലെ ഇടുങ്ങിയ ബെല്‍മാഷ് ജയിലില്‍ കടുത്ത ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അസാന്‍ജെ. ഒടുവില്‍ 2024 ജൂണ്‍ 24ന് അദ്ദേഹം ജയില്‍ മോചിതനായി. ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്റെ ജനാധിപത്യവിരുദ്ധതയെ ധീരമായി തുറന്നുകാട്ടുന്ന ജൂലിയന്‍ അസാന്‍ജെ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ വിസില്‍ ബ്ലോവര്‍മാരുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തന ങ്ങളെ വിലയിരുത്തുകയാണ്. ലേഖകന്‍.
