Questions have been raised in terms of the individual’s right to privacy ,the use of technology for racial profiling or even the use of technology to diffuse propaganda .Will technology mitigate or exacerbate contemporary social ills ?What about the multitude of careers that have been birthed by the digital age ,chief amongst being the influencer whose very purpose is to direct the choices people make .But who becomes the influencer?

SAX Appeal is an annual, student-run magazine published by the University of Cape Town's Remember And Give (UCT RAG) .

UCT RAG raises funds for non-profit organizations that work in Cape Town communities. Our aim is to positively contribute towards various Cape Town communities while simultaneously equipping students with the skills, perspectives and experiences required to become leaders who are always conscious of the needs of others.
