This issue has carried two editorials on Ram Janma Bhoomi Temple issue and Chennai Book Fair. The first editorial deals with the multivarious issues pertaining to the temple matter while the second editorial focuses on the serious issues of Chennai Book Fair regarding infrastructure and administration. Pazha Athiyaman has responded to the criticisms for his article on Periyar and Rajaji. Three short stories by Majitha, Jeevan Benni and P. Karunakaran have been published in this issue. There is a special section that contains the opinions of the publishers on the issues of Chennai Book Fair. Aravindan has written about the contribution of G. Azhagirisamy in the field of translations. Sudarvizhi has given a detailed account of the life and mission of a scholar Pavalareru Balasundaranar on the eve of his birth centenary. Sundara Ramaswamy’s letters have been published.
