FAT ROLLER

Where satin, gloss, and high horsepower combine to make a clear statement …
Craig Pattison
FAT ROLLER
I first saw this fabulous Fat Boy at Harley Heaven Dandenong and it immediately grabbed my attention. It was built for the Battle of the Kings build-off, which pits each of Australia’s Harley- Davidson dealerships against each other. The big plus from this competition is for those of us looking to buy a new Harley-Davidson or looking for inspiration to apply to our current bike.

It took a few months to organise photography for this bike by which time it had been snapped up by a very discerning purchaser by the name of Leigh from Melbourne. Leigh chose this for his first Harley-Davidson having previously been a crotch rocketeer and ex-racer. And of course, he’s rapt with his power-packed Fat Boy.

Finished in factory standard Industrial Grey Denim paint there's an abundance of gloss black treatment, from the headlight and entire front end, right through to the rear fender struts. There’s gloss black rocker covers, Arlen Ness Velocity 65-degree air intake, timing cover, gearbox end cover, outer primary cover and oil tank.

The gloss black ‘Bomber’ badges on the sides of the tank are also a nice choice to my eyes.
