Scania Launches New Construction Range
Roadway Magazine|October 2017

Aimed specifically at the construction market, Scania's new P-series and G-series ranges have been designed to be as robust and versatile as possible, with many construction applications catered for.

Scania Launches New Construction Range

Scania has launched the second phase of its new generation trucks with the roll-out of a range of vehicles specifi-cally aimed at the construction sector.

The new models – the first new generation P-series trucks and the remaining variants of the G-series range – have been designed using Scania's 'Tailor-made for applications' approach. They provide bespoke solutions for eight key construction applications: tipper, mixer, hooklift, skiploader, concrete pump, mobile crane, flatbed with crane, and heavy haulage.

Andrew Jamieson, UK Sales Director for Scania (Great Britain) Limited, says the new product line-up "have all been designed-for-purpose and feature a selection of robust day cabs and a broad range of construction industry-focused options".

New generation P-series

The new low-datum P-series cab incorporates a larger surface area of glass, slimmer A-pillars and a lowered and reshaped dashboard in order to enhance driver visibility, in common with the new G-, R- and S-series models.
