Q) How do you view the prospects of the sector in India and globally?
A) As per the business trends and policy leverage of various governments, development of indigenous product bases and competencies have become the main driving force for economic growth and to enable competition on a global scale. Due to the policy of bridging the digital gap and to promote digital literacy, the IT sector is under pressure, globally, to be developed as a global leader with massive man power requirements.
In the Indian context, ‘Make in India’ movement has been providing tremendous growth impetus to the core electronic and instrumentation sector with significant investments and growth prospects. The Indian skilled work force is doing creditably well to position itself as a formidable force in mobilising the huge domestic market potential and in harnessing the governmental support to provide encouragement towards innovation and entrepreneurship.
Q) Which engineering sectors hold promise in near future?
