DXC Technology Charts Ambitious Roadmap In India

The company is expected to escalate its play in the Digital Transformation space leveraging organic assets (CSC) and synergies out of HPE’s services business
This is a curious case in tech. In 2006, rumor mills were agog that HP (unified that time) was on the threshold of acquiring Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) for about $14bn.
But it died as a rumor. But in 2016, CSC acquired HPE’s (the enterprise division of the two independent HP’s the other being HP Inc. catering to printers and peripherals) services business.
HPE merging its Enterprise Services business with CSC in a tax-free spin-off was seen as a strategic move as it creates a pure-play services entity in which the combined synergies will give the new entity to take on the highly fragmented yet a polarized IT outsourcing market.
Post the merger, CSC has been busy putting place the synergies and realigning its competencies. Recently, the merged entity was christened as DXC Technology.
Coinciding with the global launch of DXC Technology in the first week of April this year, the Indian arm of DXC Technology was also announced with new leadership.
