Leading Taiwan-based Cloud Storage Company, Synology recently launched its NAS Storage and Surveillance solutions in partnership with Supertron. Targeting entry level enterprises as end users in its initial phase of entry into the Indian market, the company is all set to leverage the Indian Channel Community to reach out to potential customers across the country.
What is your go to market strategy and vision for India business?
First of all we need to study the data storage behavior in India to understand how the people in India are storing their data both in consumer and business. And next we are going to do a lot of broadcasting and reviews to share with all users in India and to show them how Synlogy NAS networking products and surveillance can benefit their day to day use so we’ve divided our products strategy into two segments: the B2C and B2B. The B2C area is basically to make our product available on popular retail and e-tail - Amazon for example – where we get multiple user comments and these comments are very helpful to newcomers and on top of the top of this we will do a lot of reviews from the media us and also a case study sharing to show users the generic basic usage of our functions and features. So that is the consumer side, and with the business side, I think the quickest way after we have studied the behavior is to engage directly with the users, to understand and to develop case studies. In every other country, we are actually very closely engaged with end users. We interview them and study with them to see how they’re using our products and then we make a case study and then we spread them to the market. That will help get everybody’s attention on how Synology can help them with storage in India.
