A year after she starred in a viral ad campaign for Apple in China, ELEANOR LEE has snagged a lead role in an upcoming drama in China, with a reported pay cheque of $1 mil. Her godfather, celeb crimper ADDY LEE, tells us more.
She may just be a 17-year-old student, but Eleanor Lee is making waves in China. The daughter of Quan Yifeng is now in Shanghai filming a Chinese idol drama, where she plays the lead. The drama tells the story of seven women with completely different personalities who start a restaurant together. But this is not Eleanor's first Chinese drama. For her acting debut last year, the doe-eyed beauty played the younger version of actress Karlina Zhang in the period drama Tribes And Empires and bagged a six-figure sum for appearing in just eight eps. Eleanor’s schedule was too packed for her to reply our queries, so we got the next best thing: her godfather Addy Lee, who visited her on set in Shanghai last week.
