After less than a year blogging, SHELLEY MORECROFT has attended LFW, the MOBO Awards and worked with Microsoft. She discusses challenges, career goals and her favorite designers with Rosa Fairfield
Shelley Morecroft looks a little out of place, standing in the middle of an east London pop up store, surrounded by baggy, graphic tees and grungy skirts. Morecroft is wearing a dusty pink lace blouse from ASOS, skinny jeans and grey, block-heeled Public Desire sandals. This is the location of a blogging event Morecroft is attending.
“I always dress very chic and my friends have always described me as a very glamorous person. To be completely honest, I only own about three pairs of flat shoes,” she said.
Morecroft is a 23-year-old blogger originally from Germany. She moved to the UK after she finished school, when her father had left the army, over five years ago. They moved to Gloucester, where her father’s family lives. She started studying for a German and English language degree in Birmingham, as she wanted to become a school teacher. This is a career she has decided she no longer wants to pursue.
