Coleen ‘at breaking point' over Becky battle

Coleen and Wayne Rooney jetted out of the UK last week to their “second home” of Barbados. And while the couple are enjoying a relaxing sun-drenched holiday in the Caribbean, a source has told new their trip couldn’t have come at a better time, as Coleen has been pushed to breaking point as her court case against Rebekah Vardy continues to rumble on.

“Coleen is feeling the pressure,” our insider explained.

“She had to get away. The footballers, wives and girlfriends are all talking about it.

“She wanted these stories to stop and it is a worry and a strain. Barbados is like her second home – it’s a chance to recharge the batteries and get her strength back before what she knows is going to be soul destroying and really tough.”

Wayne and Coleen, both 34, are on holiday with their sons – Kai, 10, Klay, seven, Kit, four, and two-year-old Cass. Along with Coleen’s parents Colette and Tony McLoughlin, the family is staying at the stunning Royal Westmoreland luxury estate.

And it’s not just Coleen who will be grateful for the break from the UK, as our source says Derby County footballer Wayne is feeling the pressure of the ongoing libel and defamation court case, too.
