‘I so desperately want to be loved'

Vicky Pattison on feeling broody, embracing every part of her relationship with Ercan Ramadan and moving on from her Geordie Shore past

We’re all counting down the days until the easing of lockdown and Vicky Pattison says she can’t wait for the summer, after finally feeling like she has her “sparkle” back. She says she’s used the extra time she has spent at home for reflection and has been thinking a lot about whether she’s ready for children with her boyfriend of two years, former TOWIE star Ercan Ramadan.

“I’m bombarded with constant images of blissful couples in love, adorable babies, pregnancy announcements and I think, ‘Jesus Christ, Vicky, you’re 34 this year. Get a handle on it! Start popping them out!’” she says, laughing.

But Vicky insists she won’t be rushing things with Ercan, 37, after her failed engagements to Ricci Guarnaccio and John Noble. “Those are pitfalls I’ve fallen into in the past. I’m determined I won’t make the same mistakes with Ercan,” she says.

This May marks 10 years since the launch of Geordie Shore. Vicky, who appeared in the show from the start, became famed for her quick wit and fiery tongue but, after leaving in 2014, she seemed keen to put the show behind her.
