Una Healy isn’t short of energy. The singer has carved out a career in music alongside being a mum to two adorable kids and staying on top of her fitness training. Although she and her The Saturdays bandmates haven’t performed together for seven years, the 39-year-old isn’t ruling out the possibility of a reunion, which will no doubt be music to their fans’ ears.
Una’s health regime consists of working out up to six times a week, with a mix of swimming, running and exercises devised with the help of a personal trainer.
But the star’s top priority is her children – the six-year-old son Tadhg and daughter Aoife, nine – whom she shares with ex-husband Ben Foden. Since she and Ben split in 2018, the family have settled into their new lives in Ireland.
Here, she opens up about chatting with her bandmates, writing new songs and inspiring other parents to enjoy getting crafty with their kids…
Hi Una! You’ve been focusing a lot on your music lately – could there be a reunion with The Saturdays on the cards?
Hopefully it’s something we’ll do. I think it would be a shame not to. We haven’t discussed it, but I hope we do something.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed! Do you see the girls much?
