Single mum Lydia Bright has revealed she was daunted by the “mammoth challenge” of looking after her 12-week-old daughter Loretta Rose on her own after moving out of her parents’ home.
The 29-year-old had been staying with mum Debbie Douglas, dad Dave Bright and sister Georgia after giving birth in February – just weeks before the country went into lockdown. But when their circumstances suddenly changed, she found herself moving back to her newly renovated home sooner than planned.
“My mum and dad are foster carers and we got two emergency placements, which meant there wasn’t any room in the house anymore so I had to move,” she said.
