Acne? ‘Elephant’ Nose? Chloasma? Yes, your body may go through a lot more changes post-baby. Here’s how to cope.

Postpartum Woes and Fixes

It would be great if we could all bounce right back to the fabulous pre-baby body we had. Unfortunately, for most of us, changes due to pregnancy last longer than we’d like them too, and it can be quite a frustrating time trying to deal with a lot of changes all at once. If you’re an expectant mum, it would be beneficial to start planning how you’re going to manage your health post baby. Here are some of the common postpartum issues mums have.

POSTPARTUM ACNE

This is caused by the fluctuation in hormones, stress and dehydration that your body goes through immediately after childbirth. Those who experienced severe acne as a teen or are generally acne-prone are said to have higher chances of experiencing postpartum acne as compared to those who weren’t acne prone.
