Chef Josh Boutwood is coming into his own at The Test Kitchen, his long-awaited culinary playground.
Come a little early and carefully pay attention to whatever is happening in the kitchen. When chef Josh Boutwood came under the radar in 2013, he was already impressive. At just 26, he was appointed corporate chef of The Bistro Group’s (TBG) already massive restaurant empire. Now, as TBG continues to expand, the chef’s skills have only gotten better—and they’re exhibited best at The Test Kitchen.
While he’s helped make TGI Fridays, Italianni’s, Texas Roadhouse, and the other TBG restaurants smashing successes in the Philippines, there is nothing quite like the chef Josh we see in this little Makati nook. He describes it as his playground, serving cuisine that is truly his own.
