All About Dressing As You Want

Today, people—men and women alike—are embracing their bodies like never before. Consumers are well aware of the ever-changing trends and are fearless to experiment with emerging styles. There is no way of structuring them with conventions or making them wear something that is in trend. It is all about giving them something accentuated and making them comfortable in their attire. It is all about being easy and flexible. Chasing this theme, we spoke to some brands and designers to understand their approaches to this trend and how they are offering the customer fluidity with their designs.

SAYING YES TO COMFORT

“At Maison Blu, we have always focused on designs keeping in mind the expression of one’s individual dressing style - which, as we understand, is unique for all. Comfort fits with versatility has always been our USP and we strive to offer a blend of the two. While our free flowing capes, dhotis and shararas check all the boxes in the new unstructured feature, we try maximising the whole look by providing a well fitted pant and a custom-made jacket respectively to finish the ensemble. Being an Indian wear & Indo-Western brand primarily makes it essential for us to provide a healthy balance between what’s stylish, yet wearable. For example: our dhoti pants were much sought after, for the very fact that they were well cut and fluid at the bottom and were perfectly paired with a loose cape which had the option of a belt,” Anisha Kapoor, Founder, Maison Blu comments.
